I and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Every detail was taken care of, in whichever point of the trip whether it is hotel or sightseeing. A vigilant eye had been kept to see that everything goes smoothly and it did. Now I feel that I should have visited Sri Lanka much before and truly it is a Paradise.

Until you are there you don’t realise the range of influences that have made Sri Lanka the country it is today. The people, the countryside, the hospitality is just wonderful. Some of the highlights for me were the friends we made, the staff in the hotels. The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Temple of the Tooth and the countryside on the way to Nuwaraeliya. This is the first time we’ve used a tour company like yourselves and I’ve learnt that your judgements and suggestions are very good! We did the ‘village tour’ near Sigiriya was excellent for families. We did this instead of Polonnaruwa and we’d seen enough elephants so skipped the safari at Minneriya.We thought Lion’s rock was amazing! This was our favourite cultural ‘site’ alongside the Dambulla caves. We loved everything else, releasing turtles into the sea, the stunning train journey etc etc ….all beautiful experiences. “We recently went on a bird watching tour of Sri Lanka which was organized by Starron Tours. We had an amazing 16 days seeing many parts of this diverse and intriguing country. The bird life alone was worth coming for, but when you add elephants, leopards and monkeys it is just a great experience. We had the best Sri Lankan bird guide with us and we saw a total of 248 species including all but 2 of the 34 endemics. The accommodation was excellent and the food a taste sensation – just ate far too much! Our driver and his off-sider were exceptional and we always felt safe in the often chaotic traffic conditions. A bonus was they even found some birds for us! We went on a number of jeep safaris in the National Parks and that added to the experience. All the arrangements went without a hitch and they even organized near-perfect weather for us! We highly recommend Starron Tours.”
